Coronavirus and Social Security Hearings

Updated: Apr 6, 2023

Due to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) requirements, social security is not holding any in-person hearings.  Instead, social security is currently holding all hearings via the telephone.

Due to this change, it is important that social security has your correct phone number and that you are available, alone, and in a quiet place without distractions to testify on the day of your hearing.  Beyond being available to testify, a few critical matters that you should consider for a successful hearing are: ensuring that all of your medical records have been submitted, that your eligibility for benefits is not in question, and that you know how to effectively cross-examine a medical or vocational expert.

With all of these matters to consider, it is hugely beneficial to be represented by an attorney. Call The Law Office of Malyuk McDaniel Kasper LLC at 330.929.9700 to speak with an attorney today.
